The Talisman Group is seeking a skilled and motivated Senior Chef de Partie to join our team in Melbourne. This role will operate across two of our venues: Silo 9 and Casa Chino, offering variety, creativity, and the opportunity to contribute to two distinctive hospitality experiences.
This is an excellent opportunity for a strong Chef de Partie ready to step into a senior role with greater responsibility across multiple kitchens.
About the Role
As Senior Chef de Partie, you will be responsible for managing your section to the highest standard while supporting the broader kitchen leadership team across both venues.
Your responsibilities will include: Preparing and presenting high-quality dishes in line with each venue’s menu and brand standards
Managing your section efficiently during serviceAssisting with menu development and seasonal updates
Training and mentoring junior kitchen staff
Ensuring compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations
Assisting with stock control, ordering, and minimising waste
Maintaining consistency and quality across both Silo 9 and Casa Chino
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have: Proven experience as a Chef de Partie in a fast-paced kitchen
Strong technical skills and attention to detailExperience in high-volume service environments
The ability to manage a section independently
A solid understanding of food safety and kitchen compliance
A positive attitude and strong team leadership skills
Flexibility to work across two venues
Relevant trade qualifications are required.
