The Role
To cover for an internal member departing on extended leave, we need a financial accountant for six months. This role will focus primarily on financial reporting but will also include a minor customer-facing element, involving the answering of financial queries from external parties. As a result, exceptional written communication skills are required. The role involves, but is not limited to:
- Supporting month-end close and financial statement preparation
- Performing complex balance sheet reconciliations
- Preparing P&L reports and conducting performance analysis
- Handling customer queries (email only)
- Managing general journal entries and ledger maintenance
- Overseeing multiple legal entities, intercompany transactions, and FX adjustments
- Assisting with management reporting
- Contributing to budgeting and forecasting
- Interpreting data from various business units and developing written reports for senior leadership and the board of directors
- Enhancing current BI forecast reporting through the use of visualisation and dashboard tools
- Analysing and evaluating complex data sets to provide key business insights for our partners

Your Profile- CPA or CA accreditation
- Audit background (Big-4 or mid-tier)
- Impeccable communication skills and an exceptional analytical mindset
- Understanding of financial services and netsuite are advantageous
- Proven excel expertise and technical accounting skills
