Delaware North Australia is hiring casual Commis Chefs to join our team at Melbourne Airport. As a Commis Chef, you'll be responsible for collaborating with senior chefs to create dishes that make a lasting impression. Availability around a 24 hour trading business, early morning, late nights.

What you will do?:
- Prepare a variety of dishes in a high-volume production setting
- Follow recipes for menu preparation, ensuring adherence to cooking guidelines and standards
- Execute food preparation tasks with a focus on presentation
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen area
- Conduct temperature and quality checks, manage cross-contamination to ensure WHS compliance
More about you:
- Previous Commis Chef experience
- Minimum Level 3 Certificate in Commercial Cookery
- Solid background in kitchen operations
- Demonstrated track record meeting financial targets for food and labour costs
- Ability to work a 7-day rotating roster
