About the role
Soho Restaurant & Bar is seeking a passionate and experienced Chef to add to their dynamic kitchen team. As a Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all culinary operations, ensuring the delivery of exceptional dining experiences for our patrons.This is a full-time position based in our Southbank, VIC 3006 location.
Job Type: Full-timePay: $76,515.00
What you'll be doing- Help to develop and implement innovative menu concepts that showcase your culinary expertise
- Add to the team of kitchen staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment
- Ensure the highest standards of food quality, presentation and consistency
- Maintain strict inventory control and cost-effective purchasing practices
- Liaise with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery
- Ensure compliance with all food safety and health regulations
- Contribute to the overall strategic direction of the restaurant
- Minimum 4 years of experience as a Chef
- Formal culinary training or qualifications in the Hospitality & Tourism industry
- Exceptional culinary skills, with a strong knowledge of food trends and techniques
- Excellent time management and organisational abilities
- Passion for delivering exceptional customer service
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
