Payroll Manager / Financial Services

Key Responsibilities:

• End-to-end monthly payroll processing includes payroll tax, group tax, Superannuation payments, insurance payments, and workers compensation premiums.
• Completing annual reconciliations for payroll related issues such as PAYG tax, annual worker's compensation salary, fringe benefit tax data and more.
• Administration of employee leave as per company policy.
• Analysis, reconciliation, and reporting of staff count and personnel expenses.
• Creating reports for the Australian, regional, and head offices; supporting annual salary and bonus reviews; contributing in policy manual preparation and review.
• Leading payroll optimization projects and participating in delivering other HR solutions.
• Undertaking assigned payroll, remuneration and HR-related tasks.
• Advising managers and employees on payroll and benefits issues.

Candidate Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years payroll management experience, preferably in banking, finance or corporate sector.
• Global Mobility and Shadow Payroll Management expertise.
• Proven ability to create payroll solutions in compliance with Australian laws, company policies, and best practices.
• Comprehensive understanding of payroll and employment laws.
• High level attention to detail for accuracy and compliance adherence.
• Experience in cultivating key internal and external relationships.
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
• Articulate verbal and written communication skills including proposals and reports.
• Strong analytical, data management, problem-solving, and presentation skills.
• Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and business intelligence tools is essential.
