Set in the heart of Surfers Paradise and on the doorstep of the famous Surfers Paradise Beach, The Island Gold Coast boutique hotel is looking for a passionate and experienced Chef to join our busy functions team.
This position's roster includes weekend and evening hours. Remuneration commences as $73 500, dependant on experience.

Follow venue menu planning for preparation and cooking.
Strong knowledge of preparation and presentation.
Confident in filling breakfast, lunch, and dinner shifts.
A keen eye for detail and a positive and proactive approach
Strong and detailed business acumen for kitchen operations
Proven ability to lead by example and foster a creative and organised environment where team members take pride in their work.Excellent organisational skills.
Motivated, with a drive to challenge yourself daily and deliver the very best.
Mentor staff and apprentices
Qualifications: Certificate III in Commercial Cookery
AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma / Diploma3 years relevant experience in a busy restaurant
