Job Description
Reporting to the Senior Finance Business partner, your duties will include but not be limited to:
• Provide proactive and pre-emptive operational management of R&R accounting advisory and support services
• Partnering with clients to maximise use of research funds
• Undertake budgeting/forecasting and management reporting responsibilities for research grants/contracts
• Proactively understand client needs
• Build and sustain relationships with an extensive network of colleges, clients and stakeholders
• Contribute to the planning, management and effective implementation of continuous improvement
The Successful Applicant
To be successful in this role you will need:
• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or IT
• CA / CPA qualified
• Experience in providing advice and preparing and monitoring complex budgets
• Ability to communicate with impact
• Commercially minded with strong financial acumen
• Excellent research, analytic, conceptual and problem solving skills
• Capabilities to meet tight deadlines and have a high attention to detail
• Demonstrated leadership skills
• Ability to work part of a team
