Job Description
• Diary management.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders (Counsel, defendant's solicitors, clients, staff) on Solicitors behalf.
• Send emails on Solicitors behalf.
• Draft letters for Solicitors signature.
• Communicate advice to clients on Solicitors behalf.
• Book Solicitors attendance at various conferences (ie ALA National Conference).
• Liaise with potential new clients from first point of contact through to follow up.
• Liaise with clients over the course of their claim.
• Regular file review / update meetings with Solicitor.
• File management.
• Booking medical assessment appointments for client.
• Manage personal travel at times.
• Manage personal appointments at times.
The Successful Applicant
• Minimum 3 years experience in a law firm.
• Experience in high level executive support.
• High level of customer service.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Excellent proofreading skills.
• Excellent quality control.
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
• Self-motivated.
• Ability to prioritise workload and conflicting demands.
• Ability to work well under pressure and maintain composure.
• Excellent computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to conduct internet research.
• Ability to handle difficult people with sensitivity, respect and patience.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and use discretion.
