Savour and Grace is looking for our next Sales Superstar!

This position is responsible for selling Savour and Grace's preserved and fermented food products to industry-leading food professionals. The role requires maximizing product sales and developing strong relationships with new and existing customers.

OBJECTIVES/ KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS ROLE: Business objectives

Maximise sales of Savour and Grace products
Efficiently develop and maintain strong relationships with customers (new and existing) in the Melbourne metropolitan region, including scheduling regular in-person visits and phone conversations
Share advanced product expertise with customers
Engage in product and supplier training sessions
Introduce new products and suppliers to customers
Input orders in a timely manner to ensure distribution logistics run smoothly
Procure and follow up new customer leads, including via cold calls
Communication with accounts department regarding customer payments and accounts
Communicate with team about stock availability and delivery driver movements
Problem-solve issues in a transparent and timely manner in collaboration with relevant team members, including communicating out-of-stock items, order amendments, and invoice management
Frequently review and contribute to shared documents
Maximise efficiency of order processes
Share information relevant to business forward planning with appropriate colleagues
Plan and enact sales strategies
Follow and interpret market trends
Report to Victorian sales manager

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Required

Personable, professional manner
Ability to meet sales targets
Clear, timely communication skills
Strong ability to work independently
Effective time-management skills
Ability to make decisions in a fast-paced environment
Good literacy, numeracy, and computer skills
Current driver’s licence and safe driving record
Passion for food culture

Advantageous

Experience in a sales role
Experience working with food
Knowledge of the Melbourne food industry and different demographics

The position requires you to operate a small truck which customers may use to see our products and assist you with selling. There will be some light manual labour involved.
We will provide you with the appropriate license and training to operate this vehicle.
