About Our Client

Dôme Coffees Australia is looking for a full-time Human Resources Advisor who is interested in being exposed to an exciting and varied HR position.

Based at the Dôme Support Office in Midland, you will frequently travel to cafes and integrated venues within the company metro network, with some exposure to regional locations where required.

This position will suit someone that has a previous background and passion for the service industry, with an established understanding of Human Resources from a general and employee relations perspective.

Job Description

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

 •  Recruitment and interviewing of café and hotel management positions
 •  Coach and assist managers through HR processes including performance management, disciplinary and grievance investigations, ensuring adherence to organisational policies and legislative requirements
 •  Creation, review and maintenance of new and current policies and procedures
 •  Assist in the ongoing development and innovation of HR Projects to improve HR function and delivery of HR systems and programs.
 •  Work cross functionally and collaboratively with other teams, including Training, Marketing, IT and Operations
 •  Lead, manage and action all requirements for workers compensation claims
 •  Liaise and assist in answering queries from payroll
 •  General and ad-hoc administration duties

The Successful Applicant
 •  Passion for the hospitality and service industry!
 •  Efficient, organised self-starter with proven ability to work autonomously and in a team, using initiative and taking responsibility in completing tasks
 •  Confident verbal communicator, comfortable with interactions with ability to influence upwards within the organisation as well as peers
 •  Strong administrative and time management skills
 •  Thorough knowledge of awards, current legislation as well as experience with Employment Agreements
 •  Strong attention to detail with demonstrated thoroughness of work standards
 •  Qualifications in Human Resources or a similar field are highly regarded, but not essential
