Underground Service Person

AWX Mount Isa are currently seeking experienced Underground Service Person for positions at a local mine site for a 6-month project with potential of extension.
As an Underground Service Person, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing all underground services such as water/air/pump lines and ventilation bags. Operating light vehicles and heavy machinery, assisting in breakdowns, general labouring duties and offsiding operators as required and participate in safe work operations.
In this role, you will be working a 7 on 7 off roster, rotating days and nights and consisting of 12-hour shifts.
Requirements:
• Open Manual Drivers Licence
• Previous and proven experience as a Service Person or working underground
• Must be able to pass a low risk medical and JTE prior to commencing
• Carpentry/Building background is an advantage
• Excellent communication skills
• Safety conscious and can trouble-shoot
• Desire to maintain a proactive safe working environment
