Procurement Advisor
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and experienced Procurement Advisor to join a leading organisation that contributes to the growth of Queensland’s economy.
Key Accountabilities:
• Business Partnering (internal) – Assist internal stakeholders in understanding and navigating the procurement process aligned with the organisation's Procurement Policy, identifying requirements for fit-for-purpose solutions, advising on contracting approaches and terms, managing contract renewals, and resolving contract and vendor performance issues.
• Relationship Management (external) – Cultivate and manage relationships with priority vendors to ensure optimal performance.
• Contract Management – Contribute to the day-to-day management and administration of the contract management system.
• Procurement Expertise (end to end) – Support internal stakeholders throughout the procurement lifecycle, including planning, market engagement, and contract management phases.
Requirements:
• Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline or equivalent significant contribution and understanding.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in procurement and/or contract management roles demonstrating overall competency.
• Experience in Government procurement with proven results or demonstrated potential to deliver results (desirable)
