We are seeking a proactive and motivated Finance Analyst : Costing to join our dynamic Supply Chain Finance team. In this role, you will be a trusted finance business partner to key Supply Chain and Operations stakeholders across Product Management, Brand Marketing, Finance and Commercial teams.

As the Finance Analyst, your primary responsibility will involve overseeing and upholding the costings of Finished Goods inventory, which includes delivering new product costings and overseeing the annual Standard Cost build. This role offers an excellent chance to demonstrate your problem:solving abilities and analytical acumen, by collaborating with internal stakeholders throughout the organisation to enact impactful transformations.

Key responsibilities include:

 •  Perform analysis of monthly results, including future focused, actionable commentary and insights
 •  Support the annual budget process for finished goods costing and SG and A
 •  Business partner with stakeholders across Supply Chain and Commercial, including teams in different geographic locations, to deliver business insights across finished goods inventory and SG and A expenditure
 •  Assist with monthly variance analysis for inventory and COGS
 •  Provide key inputs and assist with the annual Standard Cost build and JDE Cost Roll processes for bulk wine and finished goods (including inventory revaluation process)
 •  Ensure financial data is appropriately recorded and maintained within relevant systems (Vintrace, JDE)
 •  Conduct bill of materials audit and take correction measurements to ensure costing integrity is maintained at all time
 •  Preparation of Transfer Prices, which involves close collaboration and interaction with various regions across the business.
 •  Ensure financial data is appropriately recorded and maintained within relevant systems
 •  Ensure all key balance sheet reconciliations have been completed in line with predetermined time lines and are supported by valid, complete and accurate documents and data. Ensure reconciling items are actioned on a timely basis.
 •  Assist with the quantification and execution of cost optimisation opportunities

What you'll bring:

 •  University degree in accounting/finance or related discipline
 •  CA/CPA professional accreditation (commenced or near completion an advantage)
 •  1:3 years' relevant experience in Accounting or Finance based roles
 •  Well:developed computer skills, particularly PC based applications including MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word
