Our client is a leading retail company and they are looking for an experienced Systems Engineer to join their dynamic team in Melbourne.
Job Description
As the System Engineer you will be responsible for:
• Design, deploy, and maintain systems infrastructure to support our Clients growing business needs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and develop solutions that meet or exceed expectations.
• Implement best practices for system security, data integrity, and disaster recovery.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues proactively.
• Automate repetitive tasks to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
• Conduct research and evaluate new technologies to drive continuous improvement.
• Document system configurations, processes, and procedures.
The Successful Applicant
The System Engineer will ideally possess the following:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of DNS protocols and DNS-related security practices.
• Experience with network fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DHCP, and related networking technologies..
• Experience with Azure.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to analyze complex systems.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator) are a plus.
