Outback Spirit Tours offers a range of unique adventure tours, desert safaris and luxury short stays across our beautiful country. Our adventures capture the very essence of Australia, from the rugged red cliffs of the Kimberley to the unspoiled natural wonder of Tasmania, we bring iconic experiences to life.
We operate 9 lodges in some of the most remote, inaccessible and beautiful locations. Our team of guides, drivers, camp and operations staff are passionate about the outdoors and take pride in bringing our guests on the adventure of a lifetime.

Requirements

We are currently seeking experienced and passionate Tour Drivers & Tour Guides to join our team for our 2024 season in Lake Eyre and Outback South Australia.

Multiple positions are available.

As part of the role, you are required to stay in the camps/lodges with the guests, with some lodges owned by Outback Spirit and others owned by third party operators. You will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of the tour vehicle.

You will provide exceptional service delivery for guests, providing insightful and up to date commentary during their trip of a lifetime. All the while ensuring guest safety and comfort is at front of mind as they experience the multiple breathtaking Outback Spirit Touring locations and surrounds!

About You

To be successful in this position you will be passionate about the special places that make up Australia and have a desire to show off some of the world’s best secrets.

The ideal candidate will have:

 •  SA Driver's License and Commercial Passenger Authority
 •  Current and valid MR/HR license and be skilled in driving over 4WD terrain in our 4WD coaches
 •  Current First Aid and CPR certification
 •  Food Handling certificate
 •  Required Guiding Accreditations
 •  Exceptional verbal communication skills with a knack for making people feel at ease
 •  Ability to solve problems without compromising on the delivery of exceptional guest experiences
 •  Availability to work based on our tour dates (location dependent)
