About the role

Reporting to our Head of People and Culture and supported by our People and Culture Coordinator and Talent Acquisition Specialist, you'll be an integral part of our valued People & Culture team. As you partner closely with the Divisions that make BlueRock so unique, your role will be instrumental in fostering high-performing teams in a high-performance culture.

Being at the forefront of our people activities and influencing all parts the employment lifecycle, this role is very hands on and will see you own and deliver all operational aspects of the People function. You’ll be a crucial player in delivering our strategy to attract, develop and retain amazing talent to sustain our strong culture and fulfill our mission for our people to feel cared for, supported, inspired and energised being a BlueRocker.

This role is an amazing opportunity for an experienced HR generalist looking to take their career to the next level, or equally as exciting for an experienced Business Partner looking to find their legacy and make their mark 🚀

What you’ll be doing

Being at the forefront of our people activities and influencing all parts the employment lifecycle, this role is very hands on and will see you own and deliver all operational aspects of the People function, including:

 •  Support the Head of People and Culture to implement and deliver on the people strategy
 •  Support managers with employee relations cases with the assistance of the Head of People and Culture
 •  Coach and mentor our BlueRockers to be exceptional people leaders
 •  Identify and implement learning and development opportunities
 •  Deliver operational excellence across all Divisions and further elevate the People and Culture function to be a centre of excellence
 •  Analyse HR and people metrics to tell a story that matters to the business
 •  Support the Talent Acquisition Specialist to find and hire the right people – those exceptional individuals who will help to continue what BlueRock has built
 •  Support the cyclical activities such as Talent Mapping, Performance and Salary Reviews, and Succession Planning
 •  Provide advice on policies and processes whilst also being an escalation point for the People and Culture Coordinator

Requirements

We want to hear from people who have:

 •  A tertiary educational qualification in Human Resources 📚
 •  A unique perspective on delivering HR in a positive, kind, and efficient way 🌟
 •  A sound understanding of People technical capabilities: Resourcing, Talent and succession, Change management, Performance management, Employee engagement, Workplace relations, Remuneration, rewards and recognition, Health, safety and wellbeing, Organisation design, Diversity and Inclusion 🤹♀️
 •  You are a problem solver, working closely with stakeholders to find commercial solutions with a people-centric approach 💡
 •  High level understanding of employment law and HR concepts, especially relating to managing ER cases and their impact ⚖️
 •  Tech-savvy, not afraid of systems, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment! 💻
