This role is an onsite role – Full time or part time for the right candidate!

What do you do in this role, you ask? Great question!

This role will see you leading the Operations team to drive Guest Engagement and Satisfaction at Legoland Discovery Centre Melbourne in Chadstone Shopping Centre. You will work closely with the Supervisory and Management team to create, implement, and drive

operational strategies to exceed guest’s expectations and KPI targets. Our attraction includes multiple zones, 2 rides, 2 separate soft play areas, a 4D cinema, Virtual Reality pods, plus LOTS of other amazing LEGO-themed fun areas – and you will be our onsite supervisor making sure our guests have the most marvelous time!

So, what are some things you may be doing in a day?
 •  Duty management of the attraction (on a weekly roster with the other duty managers)
 •  Ensuring guest effective guest communication and managing escalations of guest enquiries
 •  Driving Health and Safety throughout the attraction through monitoring of site incident reporting, audits, and spot checks
 •  Ensuring Profit Protection policies and procedures are adhered to by all levels of staff
 •  Leading and coaching the amazing frontline team to deliver excellent guest interaction and service with a “guest obsessed” mindset
 •  Working with key stakeholders to ensure the attraction is running clean and efficient
 •  Communication, communication, communication – to the team AND our guests

Qualifications & Experience:

To shine in any of our roles, a passion for LEGO, Guests and GREAT customer service is essential… even more of a bonus is if

you are as LEGO-obsessed as us! Other criteria include:

 •  1-2 years’ experience in a role leading a team
 •  Experience working in the tourism, visitor attraction, play centre, recreation or similar industry
 •  Experience in customer service with a focus on effective conflict resolution
 •  Proven ability to multi-task
 •  Desire to work in a fast-paced environment
 •  A fun and positive approach to your work
 •  Cash handling experience is a positive
 •  Experience in POS systems in a ticketing or retail setting advantageous
 •  Successful candidates will have to provide a valid Victorian Working with Children Check
 •  The ability to work a roster which may include weekends, school holidays, and/or public holidays – we are a kids attraction after all!
