Labourers needed for Exhibition Setup and Warehouse Work.
As a General Hand - Exhibitions, you will be responsible for providing support in the setup and dismantling of exhibitions and trade shows. You will work as part of a team to ensure that all equipment, furniture, and displays are set up properly and in a timely manner, as well as assisting with the removal and storage of these items after the event.
Requirements for the position:
1. Availability - Flexible availability for days, nights and weekend shifts.
2. Manual Drivers Licence - Prefer to have manual drivers licence and general handling and vehicle ability.
3. Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team.
4. Flexible and supportive approach to change in the workplace, is open and embraces change
5. Physical fitness and the ability to lift heavy objects and work on your feet for long periods of time.
• Be physically fit with unrestricted ability to lift, bend, stretch and twist:
• Physical activities include walking, talking, standing, stooping, hearing, seeing, bending, reaching, feeling, writing, grasping, handling, stretching, balancing, pushing, and pulling
• Ability to lift, and to lift object overhead in the transportation, moving, lifting and/or stacking of items
• Ability to handle repetitive motion of hands, wrists, and shoulders
• Ability to stand and walk for majority of the day
