A housekeeping room attendant promotes a positive image of the property to guests, and must be pleasant, friendly and able to address problems or special requests. Perform all necessary cleaning activities such as changing towels, making beds and cleaning bathrooms.
You will also address clients’ queries and make sure our rooms are fully-stocked, clean and inviting at all times. If you’re interesting in kickstarting your career in the hotel industry, we’d like to meet you.

Requirements

Changing bed linen and make beds Replace used towels Sweep and mop floors Vacuum carpets Dust furniture Replenish bath care products (e.g. soap and shampoo)Clean public areas, like corridors Report any technical issues and maintenance needs Address guests’ queries (e.g. on additional services)Ensure all assigned rooms are clean and tidy by the end of the shift Follow hotel security guidelines Adhere to procedures and ensure all rooms serviced according to department standards Exercise tact and discretion when dealing with guests, and guests’ property Report any damages, shortcomings, and disturbances to supervisors Check and maintain stock levels

Comply with all rules regarding health and safety of guests and co-workers

Room Attendant Requirements and Qualifications High school certificate or equivalent is a plus Proficient in English Work experience as a cleaner, room attendant, or housekeeper, etc. is preferred Ability to work independently (with little or no supervision) and efficiently, while maintaining a high quality of work and meeting high-performance standards.
Friendly and respectful when dealing with guests and staff Excellent organization skills, ability to prioritize jobs and manage time well Ability to follow instructions Good physical health and stamina. Physically able to do 8-hour shifts of manual work and lift items up to 12kg High level of propriety and concern regarding guests’ privacy Address guests’ queries (e.g. on additional services)Help guests retrieve lost items Ensure all assigned rooms are clean and tidy by the end of the shift Follow hotel security guidelines.
