About the role

In the role of Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the successful operations of the Pest and Hygiene teams in Darwin and remote regional centers. You will have P&L accountability with a strong focus on KPIs, particularly meeting customer service level agreements.
You will be a hands-on team player who empowers others to succeed through coaching and ongoing learning and performance development. Regular in field visits with team members are an integral part of this role, and some travel is required.

Reporting to the Business Manager, you will be tasked with:

 •  Developing, leading, and managing a first-class Operations and Service Support Team;
 •  Implementation and management of the company’s operations plan
 •  Full logistics and fleet management responsibility for the Rentokil Initial Pest & Hygiene businesses
 •  Manage the business Safety and Compliance requirements by working with National stakeholders
 •  Manage stock holdings across all divisions
 •  Be an integral member of the management team working closely with peers and line management

Requirement:

Your career history will demonstrate:

 •  Experience in a management role within a service industry business
 •  Experience managing logistics scheduling systems and teams
 •  Ability to work under pressure and prioritise tasks;
 •  Highly developed interpersonal and customer service skills;
 •  Strong stakeholder engagement and interactions across various business areas including Finance, HR, IT, Health and Safety, Sales and Customer Service and Support
