Your New Role
As the Financial Controller you'll be across our South Melbourne Head Office and our Warehouse in Dandenong South. This role is crucial in supporting our financial strategies, with a strong emphasis on understanding both domestic and international tax complexities.
You will collaborate closely with senior leaders to not only drive financial excellence, but also cultivate a culture of growth and empowerment within our talented team. This position provides an exceptional combination of strategic leadership and hands-on engagement, presenting an exciting opportunity for a someone prepared to make a substantial impact in a dynamic environment.
Your Day to Day
• Lead the accounting team, ensuring robust financial frameworks.
• Develop key accounting policies and internal controls.
• Execute month-end close and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Manage internal/external audits and compliance with controls.
• Liaise with stakeholders for insurance coverage.
• Drive domestic and international tax compliance, including transfer pricing and inventory.
• Oversee treasury, cashflow, and FX management.
• Provide hands-on leadership and support for the finance team.
• Design scalable transaction processes and improve efficiencies.
Your Skills
• CA or CPA qualification with strong team leadership abilities.
• 10+ years of commercial and financial experience.
• Technical expertise in reporting, statutory, and tax compliance.
• International tax experience.
• Proficiency in NetSuite ERP (advantageous).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
