Being a registered NDIS provider with a diverse service offering, estara operates across 6 offices in South Australia. As an organisation, estara is working together to support and advocate for people living with spinal cord injuries and other disabilities to enable them to lead fulfilling lives and meaningfully contribute to the community.

Key responsibilities:

As the Chief Financial Officer at estara, you will be instrumental in guiding the financial direction of the organisation. You will develop strategic plans that align with the organisation's goals, oversee all financial operations, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
Your leadership skills will be essential in nurturing a high-performing team across Finance, Payroll and ICT. Your ability to communicate complex financial information effectively will enable informed decision-making across the organisation, Senior Leadership team and Board of Directors.

 •  Form a critical part of the Senior Leadership team to own, develop and implement strategic financial plans to drive organisation goals and initiatives.
 •  Collaborate, lead and partner with other executives to drive informed and commercially sound organisational decision making.
 •  Foster an organisational culture of continuous improvement and best practice.
 •  Oversee the Finance (incorporating Payroll) and ICT functions of estara through highly developed leadership and mentorship skills.
 •  Manage estara’s risk management strategies and frameworks to make recommendations to the CEO to mitigate organisional risk.
 •  Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards to the highest level of integrity.
 •  Report to the board on estara’s financial performance with recommendations and insights to promote organisational results.
 •  Communicate complex financial information to stakeholders with a relationship focused approach.

Key requirements:

The Chief Financial Officer brings extensive experience in senior financial leadership roles. Highly developed leadership skills will enable you to manage the dedicated Finance and ICT teams effectively, fostering an environment of collaboration and continuous learning.
Strong analytical skills and a strategically driven mindset will allow for complex problem solving to make informed decisions to influence the organisation’s overarching direction. Furthermore, exceptional communication skills will enable the delivery of complex financial information clearly to various stakeholders.

 •  Qualifications in Accounting, Finance or other relevant Business-related discipline.
 •  Currently obtained CA/CPA qualifications.
 •  Proven experience in a senior financial leadership role.
 •  Play a critical strategic role in developing and executing financial strategies that support the company's growth and board objectives.
 •  Experience in strategic financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis at board level is crucial.
 •  Adaptability to changes in the business environment and the ability to lead an organisation through transitions and change
 •  A strategic mindset and the ability to contribute to long-term business planning and decision-making.
 •  Highly developed communication and influencing skills with an ability articulate financial goals and strategies in alignment with the company's overall vision and objectives.
