For a leading EnergyTech company developing climate-neutral, decentralized energy sources and storage solutions, we are hiring Laser Physicists (Laser Plasma) to join its team of world-class scientists on site in Austria. Full visa sponsorship and relocation support offered!
Role & responsibilities
• Setup and work with LASER simulation software;
• Development of a LASER/Plasma system (simulation, prototype construction, and setup);
• Support and supervision of the project including LABview MSRT;
• Creation and documentation of all specifications in cooperation with development partners;
• Important internal interface to the areas of mechanical engineering, physics, and electrical engineering.
Requirements
• Completed technical education (at least Master's degree) in electrical engineering or physics with a focus on LASER;
• Understanding of electrical engineering processes, metrology, and automation;
• Experience with LASER systems (especially ultra-short pulse technology ([as] [fs] [ps]…));
• Knowledge in physical simulation of LASER setups;
• Willingness to travel to national and international cooperation partners;
• German and English language skills, both written and spoken, are required;
• Relevant software knowledge is welcome:
• Operating Systems: Microsoft, Linux
• Simulation: Matlab/Simulink, OpenModelica, Python, Matcad, FEM/CFD (Comsol, Ansys, etc.)
