Bumpertech's mobile automotive repair business has been servicing Brisbane and the Gold Coast since 2002. We can fix all those unsightly scratches, scrapes and stone chips at your home or office. Within 2-3 hours and for usually less than excess your pride and joy will be back to pre-accident condition.

Our team consists of the friendliest qualified tradesman with years of experience in panel and insurance repair shops. We are looking for a fully-qualified and competent automotive spray painter with a minimum of 5 years’ experience to join our successful and well-established mobile automotive paint repair business located in Gold Coast, Queensland.
This is a permanent position with good rewards for a qualified and reliable tradesperson.

The Panel Beater will report to the Shop Manager and will be responsible for the following tasks including:

 •  Analysis of vehicles for extent of damage and identifying repair process.
 •  Removes damaged car body parts for repair
 •  Repair of dents using techniques which include hammering panels
 •  Repair of vehicles through mechanical and hydraulic means
 •  Assessing whether parts need to be replaced and proceeding with it
 •  Replacement of damaged parts using welding and bonding/riveting technique
 •  Fitting repaired components back onto the vehicles
 •  Maintaining records, including checking accounts and invoices
 •  Be able to train, and focus on their safety and quality of the job
 •  Any ad hoc duties required by leadership

The job will be full-time, with hours to be worked between 7:30 am and 4.00 pm Monday to Friday.

The successful applicant must have:

 •  relevant previous working experience of at least 2-3 years
 •  ability to work independently or unsupervised as well as in a team environment
 •  excellent attention to detail and takes pride in their craftsmanship
 •  strongly motivated, punctual and highly reliable with a positive attitude towards work
 •  strong communication and interpersonal skills
 •  experience in the collision repair industry
 •  current and valid driver’s licence

A Certificate or equivalent educational qualification is desirable.
