With offices in Lenexa, Kansas; Perth, Australia; and Zug, Switzerland, our designs are sold in over 1,500 retail stores across the globe, including our network of company-owned and franchise stores, True Society.
Located in the US and Europe, True Society is a collective of premier bridal shops that exclusively offers our designs and delivers the ultimate wedding dress shopping experience to brides of all styles, shapes, and sizes. Together, we are a dynamic and rapidly growing company focused on innovation, excellence, drive, and collaboration.
The Role:
The successful applicant will be self-motivated, with the ability to take a proactive approach and effectively prioritise work to ensure that all activities are completed quickly and accurately. Our ideal candidate will be analytical, detail oriented, not easily overwhelmed by a fast-paced, data driven environment and will approach each day with an enthusiastic sense of urgency.
This hands-on role will suit someone looking to contribute to the ongoing success of this dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be a highly organised and analytical person, with excellent problem solving and communication skills to collaborate with different departments across the organisation.
Responsibilities:
What We Expect:
• Preparation and analysis of purchase orders to overseas factories
• Regular tracking of factory orders
• Regular liaison with international factories
• Data analysis and reporting
• Procedure writing and continuous improvement
• Regular liaison with local and overseas Customer Service colleagues
• Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery lead time information and invoices
• Collaboration with other departments to deliver exceptional solutions and customer service to our clients
• Ensure all imports, exports and local shipments are complete within the required time frame to meet client expectations
• Book, arrange and coordinate shipments
• Accurate and timely handling of import/export documentation
• Monitor shipment ETA’s and actual departures & arrivals and updating the system accordingly
• Liaise with suppliers and transport providers to resolve delivery issues
Qualifications:
What We Are Looking For:
• Demonstrated success in a similar role, with a minimum of 2 years' relevant experience
• Excellent communication skills, both professional and friendly
• Advanced, proven working knowledge in Excel
• Be a team player, yet also be able to work autonomously
• Thrive in a challenging environment, where multi-tasking is a must
• Exceptional attention to detail
• A high level of analytical and problem-solving skills
• The ability to meet deadlines consistently
• Strong procedure and process orientation
• Forecasting skills would be advantageous
• A passion for on time delivery, critical time path aware
• Driven by Lean methodologies and process improvement
• Experience in communicating with international suppliers and factories where English is not a first language is desirable but not essential
• Hands-on experience with purchasing software desirable
