Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead for Project Delivery. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team, delivering capital and asset management/maintenance projects within the Operations Zone.

The successful candidate will have the chance to develop detailed scopes of work, business cases, contract/procurement tender packages, phase and overall schedules, risk assessments, scope/design reviews, value improvement opportunities, asset commissioning, integration and handover packages for each project.

What you'll do:
As a Lead for Project Delivery, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Project Manager in developing and delivering capital and asset management/maintenance projects. You will provide technical expertise while also focusing on planning and execution support.
Your ability to develop detailed scopes of work will be crucial in achieving expected outcomes. You will also be responsible for identifying key relationships with consultants, contractors and other suppliers who align with our values.

 •  Support the Project Manager in developing and delivering capital and asset management/maintenance projects
 •  Provide technical, planning and execution support to safety, contract administration, project controls, commissioning, asset integration
 •  Develop and deliver detailed scopes of work and project plans which achieve expected outcomes and business needs
 •  Identify and build key relationships with consultants, contractors and other suppliers who can benefit and deliver positive outcomes to the Project Delivery Group
 •  Ensure the requirements of the Project Initiation Documents (PID) are clearly understood and articulated to those involved with the development of the PFS
 •  Assist in developing detailed scopes of work, business cases, contract/procurement tender packages, phase and overall schedules, risk assessments

What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Lead - Project Delivery role will bring a wealth of experience from their tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Project Management or Construction Management. With at least five years' experience in developing and delivering studies as part of an Owners Team or large Contractor organisation, you will have a demonstrated commitment to a Safety First culture.
Your in-depth understanding of project planning, estimating cost, scheduling and risk management will be crucial to your success in this role.

 •  Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Project Management or Construction Management
 •  Minimum 5 years’ experience with developing and delivering studies as part of an Owners Team or large Contractor organisation
 •  Demonstrated commitment to a Safety First culture with an excellent understanding of Safety in Design and Hazard Identification
 •  In-depth understanding of project planning, estimating cost, scheduling and risk management
 •  Sound knowledge of cost and schedule benchmarking ratios
 •  Excellent interpersonal communication skills with the ability to articulate information clearly
