Our client is seeking a dedicated and diligent Investment Manager in Real Estate Credit to join their dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work within a ASX300 financial services firm that operates in asset management, corporate advisory, lending and equities.
The successful candidate will be part of a team that manages investments for institutional, wholesale and retail investors across real estate, credit, private equity and venture capital. The company prides itself on its culture of integrity, entrepreneurship and empowerment.
They are looking for someone who can work smartly and nimbly to identify and respond to opportunities quickly.
Key Responsibilities:
• Evaluate various real estate lending options, including:
• Analysing projects and funds
• Conducting market assessments
• Crafting Information Memoranda
• Develop project cash flows and models utilising Microsoft Excel.
• Draft Term Sheets for consideration.
• Compile documents for Investment Committee meetings.
• Perform market research, data analysis, and trend tracking.
• Generate presentation materials aimed at potential investors.
• Collaborate with external legal advisors and organise Conditions Precedent checklists.
• Aid in the creation of legal paperwork, consultant due diligence reports, drawdowns, risk management, and treasury management tasks.
About You:
• Bachelor's degree in Commerce or Business, preferably with a focus on finance or property-related subjects.
• Previous experience in financial services, such as non-banking institutions, banks, private investment firms, or related fields.
• Demonstrated proficiency in commercial, credit, and financial understanding.
• Familiarity with real estate financing and securities.
• Advanced numerical skills, adept at Microsoft Excel, and proficient in financial modelling.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Capacity to establish and maintain strong relationships built on trust and mutual respect.
• Effective stakeholder influencing skills.
• Capable of working well under pressure and meeting strict deadlines.
• Meticulous attention to detail.
