We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven professional to join us as a Sales Specialist for our Machinery Division for Australia & New Zealand.
Highgate Group is a leading supplier of packaging and processing consumables and equipment to meat processors and food manufacturers across Australia.
We are seeking an experienced Equipment Sales Specialist to join our fast-paced, growing team. In this exciting role, you will build relationships and grow sales with existing and new customers across Australia and New Zealand.
Responsibilities:
• Work with new and existing clients to promote and generate leads and close sales for our specialist range of equipment.
• Conduct video and face-to-face meetings as required (travel across Australia & New Zealand will be required).
• Proactive telephone calls to generate and follow up sales opportunities and close deals.
• Discover customer pain points and present best suited tailored solutions.
• Passionately promote Highgate Group’s products and solutions at every opportunity.
• Demonstrate a driven and pleasantly persistent attitude, whilst upholding company core values and standards.
• Work closely with the sales team and account managers.
• Maintain and update information regularly in the company CRM system.
• Work autonomously with a self-motivated and determined approach, collaborating effectively inside and outside the organization, meeting attendance requirements, and producing quality work and results.
Requirements
• Minimum 3-5 years in a similar role, demonstrating strong sales skills.
• Trustworthy and professional, with a positive can-do attitude.
• Team player with strong work ethic and self-motivation.
• Strategic sales approach, with the hunger to grow customer spend and maintain margins.
• Ability to listen and understand customer needs and requirements.
• Consistent record of exceeding sales targets and KPI's.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy, with excellent presentation and communication.
• Outstanding ability to work autonomously with a proven track record in remote capacities.
• Current driver’s licence with a good record.
