What you'll do:
As a Project Officer, you will be at the heart of our client's Change Program. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure smooth delivery of key recommendations captured in the Best Practice Review. You will manage various aspects of project planning, from developing implementation strategies to monitoring progress.
Your role will also involve documenting policies and procedures, coordinating project initiatives, identifying potential risks, and implementing mitigation strategies. You will also be tasked with resolving operational issues, preparing detailed reports, developing efficient systems for project completion, tracking implementation progress, reporting risks to program leads, and providing secretariat support for project governance groups.
• Manage the development, implementation, and monitoring of project plans and progress
• Document policies and procedures that support business and operational processes
• Coordinate project initiatives including planning and performance evaluation processes
• Identify, evaluate, and manage risks through appropriate mitigation strategies
• Resolve operational problems and assist in the development of effective administrative systems
• Prepare reports on specific program matters and respond to related issues
• Develop processes that improve project completion and participate in designated change activities
• Track implementation progress, report risks to program leads, and provide secretariat support for project governance groups
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for the Project Officer role is someone who brings a wealth of experience in project management along with excellent interpersonal skills. You have demonstrated your ability to work effectively across a wide range of stakeholders in previous roles.
Your attention to detail is second to none, and you have a knack for problem-solving. You are well-versed in project management processes, tools, and methodologies, and you have strong organisational skills that allow you to manage conflicting priorities effectively.
Your ability to utilise system tools such as MS Office Suite and Teams will be crucial in managing program information. Above all, your decision-making skills are sound and based on thorough analysis of available information.
• Demonstrated interpersonal skills to effectively engage with a wide range of stakeholders
• Excellent attention to detail along with analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proven experience in project management with knowledge of supporting processes, tools, and methodologies
• Strong organisational skills including prioritisation and time management abilities
• Capability to manage program information utilising system tools such as MS Office Suite and Teams
• Ability to make sound decisions based on analysis of available information
