About the Role

Join our high-performance Hardware Engineering team as we develop ground-breaking technologies which are set to revolutionise Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and Battery Management Systems (BMS).

The Electronics Engineer will work to:

 •  Design Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) including Analog, Digital, Power Converter Electronics and Communications
 •  Design Battery Management Systems (BMS) for Lithium, Sodium and other chemistries
 •  Define product requirements and specifications
 •  Identify and prioritise technical risks
 •  Develop innovative solutions, plans, and approaches to achieve on-time product development
 •  Design printed circuit boards using Altium Designer
 •  Complete product design verification
 •  Maintain suitable documentation

For Engineers seeking growth and development, this position is not solely limited to executing on existing plans; the Electronics Engineer is encouraged to provide technical innovation across the department, make product improvement recommendations, gather and share knowledge of emerging technologies, coach and mentor developing engineers, and play an active role in the development and management of the company’s intellectual property portfolio.

Requirements

Essential Requirements:

 •  Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical Engineering) or equivalent.
 •  Experience in Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS)
 •  Demonstrable experience in V-Model development
 •  Strong experience with Altium Designer, LTSpice, MathCad
 •  Experience utilising general electronics lab equipment
 •  Experience with FMEA’s
