As a Property Officer, you will be responsible for assisting with all aspects of property management, including tenant relations, property inspections, lease agreements, and maintenance coordination.

Role: Property Officer
Location: Parramatta NSW
Salary: Salary based on experience up to 80k

Responsibilities
 •  Communicate with tenants regarding lease agreements, rent payments, and property-related inquiries
 •  Conduct property inspections and prepare detailed reports
 •  Assist with the marketing and advertising of vacant properties
 •  Screen and select suitable tenants, conduct reference checks, and prepare lease agreements
 •  Coordinate and schedule maintenance and repairs
 •  Handle tenant requests, complaints, and disputes in a professional and timely manner
 •  Ensure all properties comply with relevant laws and regulations
 •  Maintain accurate and up-to-date property files and records
 •  Assist with financial management, including rent collection and arrears management
 •  Collaborate with property managers and other team members to ensure excellent tenant satisfaction
 •  Keep up-to-date with industry trends and changes in legislation

Requirements
 •  Previous experience or studying in property management or related field
 •  Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations pertaining to property management
 •  Strong communication and interpersonal skills
 •  Excellent organizational and time management skills
 •  Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
 •  Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities
 •  Proficiency in using property management software and tools
 •  Customer service-oriented mindset
 •  Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
 •  Strong computer skills, including MS Office and property management software
 •  Demonstrated ability to build and maintain positive relationships with tenants, owners, and contractors
 •  Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle
