Key Responsibilities

As a Workday Delivery Lead, you should expect to lead a large, complex Workday implementation effort and have the following responsibilities:

 •  Lead teams of consultants and clients to reach their implementation and transformation goals on time and within budget
 •  Work from start to finish on a technology transformation project with the ability to step in at any stage of the project lifecycle.
 •  Identify scope and write functional requirements and specifications. Use expertise to develop and support cost effective blueprints, estimates, and conceptual designs.
 •  Implement new requirements and solutions.
 •  Be recognized internally and externally for their deep functional or industry expertise, domain knowledge, or offering expertise.
 •  Align technology with business strategy and goals, work directly with the client gathering requirements to analyse, design and/or implement technology best practice business changes.
 •  Be an expert internally and externally for your deep functional or industry expertise, domain knowledge, or offering expertise, enhancing Accenture's marketplace reputation.
 •  Serve as a practice thought leader related to digital HR and/or Finance transformation and the digital employee experience
 •  Advise clients in their human capital management and/or financial management technology decisions and strategies
 •  Solution and deliver integrated offerings that enable a client’s digital employee experience through Workday
 •  Create, implement, and manage a program office function in support of the execution of delivery or product work.
 •  Develop and execute end-to-end project management activities.
 •  Define project scope with key stakeholders and effectively manage milestones and dependencies.
 •  Support the management of financial, contractual, and operational commitments.
 •  Monitor delivery performance and quality using metrics and status reporting.
 •  Mitigate risks as defined in project plan.
 •  Oversee and maintain practices and procedures in line with best practice
 •  Financial and operational management of the PMO & governance control
 •  Financial Planning, Budgeting, preferably on the Workday platform, though Workday experience is not mandatory it will be highly regarded.

Your skills and Qualifications:

 •  Current knowledge of the Workday Platform (HCM and/or Financials)
 •  Proven experience with the Delivery of at least 2 major Workday Implementations
 •  Previous consulting experience or congruent professional experience either as an internal consultant or with a consulting/software company
 •  Ability and willingness to travel
 •  Superior communication skills, both written and verbal
 •  Experience with pre-sale and sales activities
