Inside Sales Specialist - Life Sciences

Overview:

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic Inside Sales Specialist to support Bio-Rad’s class leading Life Science products within Australia.

The role will be based at our Pacific Head Office in Western Sydney and the focus will be to provide support to the regional areas that are currently underrepresented by the field sales team.

Reporting to the National Sales Manager, you will utilise phone, email and other online channels to sell the value of the Bio-Rad product offering while updating our customers on pricing and technical developments. This dynamic role will also provide support to the Field Sales team by creating quotes as required and the dissemination of Marketing Qualified leads.

A fantastic opportunity to contribute to a class leading organization while gaining new Commercial, Technical, and Sales skills.

How You’ll Make an Impact:

 •  Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers via phone, email and video calls.
 •  Identify, and develop the customer base to have multi-product uptake (i.e. cross sell)
 •  Spending at least 70% of the time contacting current and prospective customers
 •  Achieving sales targets and maintain a growing customer database
 •  Applying CRM Management tools to improve prospecting and opportunity pipelines
 •  Work effectively within a team environment with the ability to communicate professionally internally and externally
 •  Have a strong eye for detail and an urgency to provide customers with the best possible service

What You Bring:

 •  A Life Science or related degree with at least 3 years relevant laboratory experience
 •  Experience selling technology products or a strong desire to begin a sales career
 •  A passion to provide a high standard of customer service
 •  Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
 •  Excellent negotiation and influencing skills
 •  Professional approach and passion for success and can work autonomously
 •  Excellent computer skills with the ability to use CRM effectively
 •  High levels of energy and drive with an enthusiasm for selling
