Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

 •  Develop and implement health and safety strategies, policies, and procedures tailored to the ANZ & South Pacific region.
 •  Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and risks, and implement corrective actions.
 •  Provide expert advice and guidance to management and employees on health and safety matters.
 •  Lead incident investigations, analyse root causes, and develop preventive measures.
 •  Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate health and safety into business operations and projects.
 •  Deliver health and safety training programs and initiatives to enhance awareness and competence.
 •  Stay updated on relevant legislation and industry best practices, ensuring compliance and continuous improvement.
 •  Perform any other duties as assigned by senior management that are in line
with the role's scope and purpose.
 •  Act as a point of contact for health and safety inquiries and support regional health and safety committees.

The Successful Applicant

Requirements:

 •  Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or related field.
 •  Proven experience (minimum 5 years) in a similar health and safety role within a multinational organisation.
 •  Strong knowledge of ANZ health and safety regulations and standards.
 •  Experience in developing and implementing health and safety management systems.
 •  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
 •  Certified Health and Safety Professional (e.g., NEBOSH, ISO 45001) preferred.
 •  Google Suite Experience preferred
 •  Worker's compensation and RTW experience required
 •  Ability to travel occasionally within the ANZ region as required.
