The Purpose:

 •  Ensure that eftpos products and services are working per requirements and specifications through various testing activities prior to each release/deployment
 •  Provide technical expertise and support to eftpos members and their service providers in testing and certifying eftpos product services and solutions

This is a 12 month Fixed term contract

Responsibilities of the role will cover the following key areas:

 •  Scope, define and maintain certification requirements and processes for eftpos products and services by liaising
 •  Create/maintain test plans and test strategy; define/maintain test tools for testing and certification. Drawing on technical expertise in EMV standards and eftpos specifications.
 •  Review and validate, test/certification reports. Liaise with vendors and suppliers for testing/certification deliverables and perform acceptance and integrating testing.
 •  Update, maintain and distribute certification and testing documentation.
 •  Report bugs or discrepancies identified from test results
 •  Minimize production issues by ensuring adequate test coverage on testing tasks.

The skills & knowledge you need to have:

 •  At least 3 years’ experience in the payments industry is desirable.
 •  Familiarity on payment industry and financial messaging standards, mainly AS2805 and
 •  Tokenization is good to have.
 •  Experience across multiple platform architectures and technologies such as micro-services and REST APIs is mandatory.
 •  Experience with testing APIs using SOAP UI, Postman, Ready API or any similar tool is mandatory.
 •  Comfortable in all aspects of test planning, test execution and defect analysis.
 •  Willing to execute test manually where needed but always considers automation as essential for efficiency.
 •  Ability to relate the details of functional requirements, test cases and defects to the overall business and customer outcomes
 •  Experience in managing vendors and end-to-end testing processes.
