Job Description- Process fortnightly payroll accurately and timely
- Assist with HRIS system implementation
- Maintain the payroll system and ensure data integrity
- Prepare and maintain employee records and files
- Assist with financial audits related to payroll
- Handle payroll related queries from staff
- Prepare various payroll related reports
- Liaise with HR and Finance departments
- Ensure compliance with government regulations
The Successful Applicant
A successful Payroll Officer should have:
- A degree in Accounting, Finance or similar field
- Strong proficiency in payroll systems
- Experience leading or taking part in system implementation
- Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail
- Good knowledge of payroll legislation and awards
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving skills
- A competitive salary package of AUD 80,000 - AUD 100,000 plus super
- Full-time, 12-month fixed-term contract opportunity
