Job description

AI Talent is on the lookout for a Software Engineer to join our team. As Software Engineer you will design, develop, test, maintain and document program code in accordance with user requirements, and system and technical specifications.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Qualifications: Master’s degree in software engineering

Experience: Minimum 6 years of full-time experience working as a Software Engineer

Skills:

  • Analyse system requirements and write technical documentation for company policies and user guides.
  • Identify inefficiencies in current processes and highlight software limitations in order to provide recommendations on software purchase and upgrade.
  • Implement the testing plan and quality standards for enterprise applications, debug existing source code, and polish feature sets.
  • Coordinate with the Technical Director on current programming tasks and collaborate with other programmers to design and implement features.
  • Create and document software tools that artists or other developers require and quickly produce well-organised, optimised, and documented source code.
  • Researching, consulting, analysing and evaluating system program needs.
  • Identifying technology limitations and deficiencies in existing systems and associated processes, procedures and methods.
  • Testing, debugging, diagnosing and correcting errors and faults in an application programming language within established testing protocols, guidelines and quality standards to ensure programs and applications perform to specification.
  • Writing and maintaining program code to meet system requirements, system designs and technical specifications in accordance with quality accredited standards.
  • Writing, updating and maintaining technical programs, end-user documentation and operational procedures.
  • Providing advice, guidance and expertise in developing proposals and strategies for software design activities such as financial evaluation and costings for recommending software purchases and upgrades.

Requirements:

  • Work independently when required.
  • Continuously learn and improve skills.
  • Attention to detail is essential and all tasks must be carried out to the highest standard.
  • Certified as TOSCA - Automation specialist L2
  • Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills
  • Excel in performing End to End Web/UI Testing
  • Experience with ServiceNow technologies
  • Proven problem-solving experience
  • Certified as ServiceNow Administrator
  • Previous experience with Salesforce CRM
  • Experience with using Selenium Web drive for automation

Salary: $80,000 to $120,000 per year + Super
