Salary: $80,000 to $90,000
Job Summary:
In three short years KMG we have grown to become one of WA’s fastest growing and most reputable construction companies, working alongside our clients on some of WA’s most iconic projects.We are now seeking an Office Manager at KMG PTY LTD who will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day administrative operations, ensuring organisation, efficiency, and compliance with company policies. This busy and dynamic role involves managing office resources, coordinating staff, and maintaining a productive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing recruitment of new staff members, conducting interviews, scheduling inductions, managing employee records, liaising with staff and clients.
- Onboarding and screening employees and mobilising to multiple mine sites across WA.
- Ensure all staff members comply with payroll requirements; hours are coded correctly and resolve any issues as they arise.
- Responsible for ordering for all supplies and materials for multiple sites across WA.
- Liaising with suppliers regarding scheduled order, payments and reconciling any payments/orders with the accounts department.
- Ensure effective communication across departments to support operational goals.
- Ensure complex compliance requirements, including Health and Safety requirements are met for each job.
- Maintaining an ongoing relationship with clients to ensure their needs are met and a positive relationship is maintained.
- Oversee employee training and development to assist with clients’ requirements on site.
- Supervise staff performance and provide feedback as required.
- Contribute to the planning and review of office services and policies, setting priorities, and ensure company goals are met.
- Assign tasks and monitor the performance of office staff to ensure productivity.
- Provide guidance and support to employees, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Monitor office supplies, overseeing office ordering as required and ensure all office equipment is functional.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Office Manager or in a similar administrative role within the construction/mining industry [essential]
- Prior experience of mining onboarding software for Rio Tinto, FMG and BHP [essential]
- Must have prior experience with onboarding software JobAdder and accounting software Astute [essential]
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills required [essential]
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills required [essential]
- To be successful in this role, you must have the ability to multi-task as you will be required to oversee a minimum of 75 employees and be available for shutdowns as required [essential]
- Occasional travel and site visits may be required at short notice [essential]
