The Company
A well placed and thriving property development company, with a clear reputation in the market is searching for their next detail oriented management accountant
The Role
Reporting to the Director of Finance, you will work alongside a close knit team to ensure accurate data and controls, and support the development team which is shaping multimillion dollar developments across Victoria.- Conduct monthly balance sheet reconciliations and maintain cost tracking schedules
- Prepare initial analysis, reporting packs, and assist with stage feasibilities and drawdown packs
- Manage reconciliations and data integrity for GST/BAS compliance
- Assist in the review and coding of accounts payable invoices and manage holding cost schedules
- Maintain and update settlement registers, commission reviews, and bank guarantees
- Support sales reporting, actuals distribution, and commission tracking
Your Profile
You have a can do attitude, and are happy to partner with non financial stakeholders. You will have a sense of curiosity and initiative and a desire to grow both within a businesses but also individually.- CA or CPA qualified (or near completion)
- Experience in construction or property is highly desired
- Profiles from professional services are also encouraged to apply
- Excellent skills with excel
- Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals and compliance
- A confident communicator, who enjoys being in a fast-paced environment
