You will be undertaking the following duties:

• Read plans and blueprints to understand client needs and requirements.
• Take appropriate measurements to determine material requirement using

• Follow occupational health and safety standards and keep a clean work site.
• Prepare cost estimates, where applicable.

Successful applicants must have:

• Certificate III in Carpentry or Certificate IV in Building (preferred but not

• Relevant 3 years Carpentry experience in lieu of formal qualifications
• Experience in using grinders, chisels, planes, saws, wood files and other tools
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Confidence to supervise other trades
• Willingness to learn and take instructions
