As a Carpenter at Ironbuilt Infrastructure, the successful candidate will play a crucial role in the construction and development of various infrastructure projects. This role involves contributing hands-on expertise to ensure that all carpentry work meets the company's rigorous standards for quality and safety.
Position Responsibilities and Tasks:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine specifications and calculate material requirements.
- Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made from wood, plywood, and other materials.
- Perform framing, roofing, and finishing work on various projects.
- Ensure compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with other trades and team members to complete projects efficiently.
- Measure and cut materials to specifications using hand and power tools.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Certificate III in Carpentry or an equivalent qualification.
- At least 1 year of proven experience as a Carpenter.
- Possess a valid industry standard safety white card.
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship in all tasks.
- Solid understanding of wooden construction techniques, materials, and tools.
Salary: This is a full-time position with competitive remuneration between $70,000 - $80,000 p.a. plus superannuation for a 38-hour work week.
