Adelaide - Accounting Manager

The Opportunity
The purpose of this role is to lead and develop a team to partner with the various business partners and functions in various aspects of our financials, including monthly results, reconciliation of general ledger accounts, provision of accounting advice, data governance and process improvement.
What you'll do- Holistic P&L and Balance Sheet review and analysis for specific areas
- Review of internal controls to ensure these are embedded into processes with adequate tracking / monitoring
- Deliver insightful analysis and recommendations to business partners
- Prepare and review reconciliations, HY and FY Financial Statement Analysis notes
- Ensure compliance with all relevant company policies and procedures, industry codes of practice and all relevant legislation
- Provide leadership, coaching and mentoring to the FSS and wider Finance team
- CA or CPA qualification with at least 5+ years post qualification experience
- Advanced experience in developing and supporting teams, ability to engage, motivate and inspire others
- Able to communicate complex financial information to a broad audience; able to make the complex simple
- Advanced analytical and problem solving skills
- Advanced experience using financial systems in a commercial environment
