Key Responsibilities
  • Implement and maintain security solutions to safeguard organizational IT assets.
  • Monitor security alerts and respond to incidents, performing initial investigations and documentation.
  • Conduct security assessments, vulnerability testing, and risk analysis to identify and mitigate potential threats.
  • Assist in the development and enforcement of security policies, standards, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to ensure secure configurations and compliance with security regulations.
  • Keep abreast of the latest cybersecurity trends and threats to enhance the organization's security posture.
  • Prepare reports and presentations on security analysis and incident response activities for management.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in IT security or a related field.
  • Familiarity with security tools such as firewalls, antivirus software, and intrusion detection systems.
  • Strong knowledge of network security, protocols, and best practices.
  • Experience with risk assessment methodologies and compliance standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CEH, or similar) are a plus.
