• Identifying and securing new business opportunities within the Mining sector
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with key customers
• Leading negotiations and closing deals to drive sales
• Developing and implementing strategic sales plans
• Reporting on sales activity and forecasting future sales
• Collaborating with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction
• Representing the company at industry events and conferences
• Staying updated on industry trends and market activities

The Successful Applicant

A successful Business Development Manager should have:

• A strong academic background in business, sales, or a related field
• Proven experience in a similar role within the Mining sector
• Exceptional negotiation and relationship-building skills
• A proven track record of achieving sales targets
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of the WA market and a strong network within the sector
