Our client, a global leader in banking, markets and investor services, is seeking a Client Services Officer to join their team in Sydney, Australia. This role offers the opportunity to provide world-class service to local, regional and global clients from Financial Institutions and Corporate segments.
The successful candidate will be part of a supportive team that drives the regional and global agenda for client service and implementation. This role requires strong communication skills, industry knowledge, and an understanding of documentation related to Payments, Clearing and Settlement service
Responsibilities:
- Understand the documentary account maintenance requirements for FI and Corporate clients
- Manage client documentation requests including account maintenance, Electronic Payment Signatory Form set ups, addition and removal for signatories etc.
- Interpret Global documentation requirements and action accordingly
- Build strong relationships with clients, understand their documentary needs and support clients for their projects
- Partner with local and regional stakeholders in executing the strategy that supports the business objectives
- Maintain discipline in case management, logging, tracking and reporting of all client requests in a timely manner
- Adhere to all internal and external SLAs maintained internally and with clients
- Learn the product and other efficiency related initiatives
Requirements:
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline
- Experience in documentary/client service management in a financial institution or similar
- Knowledge of Banking documentation and products, including domestic and cross border payments
- Track record of managing and building client relationships and internal partners
- Strong influencing, negotiation and presentation skills
- Excellent process and analytical skills, eye for detail with the ability to work in a complex, matrixed environment
