Systems Engineer

We are recruiting a Systems Engineer to join our team on full-time employment basis in our Southport, Gold Coast office. The position is responsible for providing IT support services to our corporate customers.

• Working remotely and on-site with clients to install, troubleshoot or repair anything from desktop to server hardware,switches, network routers and various software applications
• Resolving basic and complex IT issues within the required SLA time-frames either remotely or when onsite
• Escalating work when required and correctly documenting notes, processes and updating client documentation
• Answer incoming calls from clients, raise tickets, record accurate details and respond to new and existing tickets
• Performing a wide variety of technical support across many technologies
• Working with highly experienced Engineers and Technical Account Managers to maintain best practice environments
• Provide mentor support to Systems Technicians (L1)

Then successful candidate would have at least 3 years of relevant employment experience plus relevant qualification.

• Experience in Windows/Mac, Desktop, Microsoft Officer and Printer installations
• Experience and sound knowledge of Microsoft technologies such as Active Directory, Office 365, MS Office suite
• Knowledge of technologies such as LAN, WAN, DNS, NAT and SMTP
• Familiar with Active Directory and Group Policy
• Sound understanding of backup systems and desktop security software
• Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written with a great phone manner
• High level of English proficiency in order to produce and maintain technical documentation
