Administration Coordinator – Emergency Management Capability and Response

Reporting to the Senior Manager – Lifesaving Operations Support, the Administration Coordinator is responsible for the coordination of the administration functions for the Emergency Management Capability and Response team ensuring delivery of high quality and innovative administrative support.
This is a fulltime, ongoing position based at our State Centre in Port Melbourne. LSV will provide a great work environment, variety, employee benefits including salary packaging, and great office amenities and facilities.Who are you?
This position would ideally suit an experienced administration professional with strong customer service and project coordination experience. You will have the ability to provide high quality administration with a focus on attention to detail, an experienced minute taker and report writer with proven success in meeting deadlines, operating under pressure and be comfortable multitasking, your time management skills will be highly developed.
You are an experienced coordinator, with strong administration skills and a continuous improvement mind-set. You will be an exceptional collaborator who is comfortable communicating at all levels. You will have excellent time management skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritise.
Your enthusiastic, approachable, and can-do attitude will be the basis of your success in this role.- Strong customer service or club development experience
- Strong IT knowledge and capabilities with the ability to learn new IT systems as required, and work with others to improve their capabilities,
- Good stakeholder engagement and management experience, including demonstrated experience continuously improving relationships and outcomes with key stakeholders.
- Experience working autonomously and under pressure, in an environment requiring trouble shooting and a solution-oriented focus.
- Tertiary qualifications in business, emergency services, or sport administration, or a similar discipline.
Previous experience as a coordinator in a sporting, emergency service or volunteer-based organisation and knowledge of or interest in water safety, lifesaving, Life Saving Victoria, Surf Life Saving Australia and Royal Life Saving Society Australia is highly regarded
