Senior Financial Accountant
Location: Macquarie Park
Salary: Up to $130,000 + Super
Work Schedule: 4 days on-site in Macquarie Park, 1 day remote (Fridays)

We are currently seeking a Senior Financial Accountant for our client, offering a unique opportunity to advance your career in a dynamic finance environment. This exciting role comes with a clear progression path to a Finance Manager position within 2 to 3 years.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the FP&A team to prepare and process deferred revenue and revenue received in advance.
- Prepare monthly cash flow workings and key month-end reconciliations.
- Process IFRS 16 lease transactions using lease software.
- Handle intercompany billings and resolve queries with related parties.
- Manage accounts payable invoices and assist the wider business in resolving accounts payable-related questions.
- Ensure compliance with GST, payroll tax, and PAYG legislation.
- Prepare FBT return workings with assistance from the Financial Accountant.
- Assist with annual tax workpapers for the tax team.
- Support the preparation of monthly reporting for the group.
- Contribute to key portions of quarterly reporting, such as commitments and disclosure schedules.
- Assist in the annual insurance renewal process and manage insurance claims as they arise.
- Comply with internal controls while driving process improvement and best practices.
- Provide mentorship to junior team members and assist the Financial Accountant.
- Review and understand revenue contracts for revenue recognition policy.
- Assist stakeholders across the business with relevant queries.
- Undertake other ad-hoc tasks and projects as required.
