Salary range: $70,000-75,000

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Management Accountant to join our team. This role will be critical in providing key financial analysis and decision-making support to the senior management.

• Collaborate with managers and department heads to prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial budgets and forecasts.
• Analyze financial data, providing insights into operational performance and cost control, to the management.
• Conduct detailed analysis of profitability, monitor sales, costs, and margins, and propose measures to improve financial performance.
• Analyze operating costs, particularly food procurement, labor costs, and rent, to help optimize cost structures and improve profit margins.
• Prepare and analyze management reports, including profitability analysis, cash flow forecasts, and balance sheets, providing timely insights to senior management.
• Manage and coordinate financial activities across multiple business units (restaurants), ensuring alignment with the overall corporate financial goals.
• Ensure that financial operations comply with internal controls and external regulatory requirements, and implement effective financial management and risk control procedures.
• Provide financial modeling and scenario analysis to support new business opportunities, investments, and expansion plans, assisting in sound financial decision-making.
• Support and optimize financial systems, ensuring smooth and efficient data flow to meet the needs of the growing business.
• Assist in supervising, training, and providing support to junior accounting staff.

• Bachelor's degree or above with a major in accounting
• At least 3 year’s experience as an accountant
• Proven experience in the hospitality industry and/or franchise arrangements

• Proven experience with MYOB or Xero accounting packages
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to conduct financial modelling, cost analysis, and data analysis.
• Familiar with Australian taxation laws and financial compliance requirements.
