About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Cook to join our kitchen team on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role and a passion for preparing and presenting delicious, high-quality dishes.
Key Responsibilities- Preparing, cooking, and presenting menu items according to company recipes and quality standards
- Managing food preparation areas, cooking surfaces, and kitchen equipment
- Ensuring food is stored, prepared, and served safely and hygienically in compliance with food safety regulations
- Assisting in menu planning and development of daily specials
- Monitoring stock levels and assisting with ordering supplies
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen workspace
- Working collaboratively with the kitchen and service teams to ensure smooth operations
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Cook in a busy commercial kitchen
- Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Flexibility to work on weekends, public holidays, and during busy periods as required
- Competitive salary of $75,000 – $80,000 per annum (commensurate with experience)
- Full-time, stable position (38 hours per week)
